Berat is the ninth most populous city of Albania and the seat of Berat Country and Berat municipality . Berat is located in the south of the country. It is surrounded by mountain and hills , including Tomorr on the east that was declared a National Park. Berat , designated a UNESCO World Herritage Side in 2008, comprises a unique style of architecture with influences from several civilizations that have managed to coexist for century throughout the history.
